Auto-generated Customer Id

The customerId is a identifier which your system set to each customer. So, one merchant’s customer only have one customerId, and one customerId only belongs to a merchant’s customer.

Passing off the customerId as part of the request, it makes easy to reconciliate transactions between Addon Payments system and your system.

If you don’t send the customerId, Addon Payments will generate one unique customerId for you. Following the next pattern.

  • Invoice: INV
• UUID: Universally Unique IDentifier v.4, generated according RFC 4122 specification.
