Postman Collection

What is Postman?

Postman is a platform and application that makes it easier to create and use APIs. Allows you to check your projects are working and test them, as well as making requests easily to test your own or third-party REST APIs.

How to download Postman

To get our Postman collection, you have to set up an account on the website. You can do it here. Once you’ve set up an account, download our Postman collection.

To use the collection, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Postman application or website.
  2. Click “Import” in the upper left corner.
  3. Upload the file you just downloaded or drag it onto the screen.

After you’ve finished these steps, the Postman collection will be uploaded to the app or website and ready to use.

How to use the Postman collection

The collection is in three folders: H2H Integration, Hosted Integration and JavaScript Integration. Follow these steps to set up and use the collection:

  1. On the menu at the left, click “Addon Payments Collection”.
  2. On the top bar, click “Variables” and set up the values for parameters like “merchantId”, “merchantPass”, “productId” and “merchantKey”.
  3. Click “Save” at the top right of the screen to save the settings.

    Example use for redirect request

    In the Hosted Integration section, you have two options: Redirect request and Recurring payments – Initial. These steps are for a redirect request.

    1. Click “Addon Payments Collection” and in the variables section enter the “merchantId” and “merchantPass” parameters.
    2. Click “Save”.
    3. On the menu at the left, click “Redirect request” and then click “Send”.
