BackOffice Portal

What are the URLs for the BackOffice Portal?
  • Staging: https://smb-stg.addonpayments.com
  • Production: https://smb.addonpayments.com
The BackOffice Portal is in English. Can I change it?

Yes. The Addon Payments BackOffice Portal is available in these languages.

  • Spanish (ES).
  • Catalan (CA).
  • English (EN).

You can choose any of the three (3) languages available before logging into the BackOffice Portal or after.

Changing language before logging in to BackOffice Portal

To change the language before you log into the BackOffice Portal, click on the language button. It is on the right, above the “Username” field. 

When you click, a dropdown menu with the languages available will open. Click on the language you want to see the BackOffice Portal in.

To change the language after you log into the BackOffice Portal, click on the language button. It is in the top right corner of the Portal.

I forgot my password for the BackOffice Portal.
  1. Click on “Forgot your password?” at the bottom of the login form.
  2. On the next screen, enter your BackOffice Portal username and click “Send code”.
  3. An email with a code will be sent to the user’s email address. The code is alphanumeric. Example: “920710ad”. It could take a few minutes to get the email. The code is only valid for 30 minutes from the time you click “Send code”.
  4. When you click “Send code”, you will see a form to reset your password with the following fields:
    • Username: This is your username to log into the BackOffice Portal. You have to enter the name you gave in point 2 in this field. Example: 12345.admin
    • Code: This is the code you received by email.
    • New Password and Confirm new password: The new password you want to use to log into the BackOffice Portal. It must meet the following conditions:
      • At least eight (8) characters.
      • Include at least one (1) lower-case letter, one (1) capital letter and one (1) number.
      • The “New Password” and “Confirm new password” fields must be exactly the same.
  5. Click “Update password”.

If all the info is correct and you are within the 30 minute window for the code, the password for the username provided will be updated and you can enter the BackOffice Portal.

I forgot my password and when I click "Send code" I don't get an email.
  1. Wait a few minutes after clicking “Send code”, it can take a while.
  2. Check your spam folder.
  3. Send an email to support@addonpayments.com with your merchant ID (MerchandId) and the username.
Can I create more users for the BackOffice Portal?

Yes. You can create new users on the BackOffice Portal.

I created a username but I can't assign it a profile.

You can’t currently assign permissions through the BackOffice Portal.

Send an email to support@addonpayments.com with your merchant ID (MerchandId), the username and the profile you want to assign.

How can I add a domain or IP to the secure or authorized list?

To use the Addon Payments payment gateway in JavaScript integrations or with modules, you have to register the domains that will launch the gateway as secure domains in your merchant set-up. 

You can do this on the Addon Payments BackOffice Portal in the corresponding environment (staging/production). To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go into the Addon Payments BackOffice Portal in the corresponding environment (staging/production).
    • Staging: https://smb-stg.addonpayments.com
    • Production: https://smb.addonpayments.com
  2. If the set-up is for a sub-merchant, go into it by clicking “Merchant settings” > “Merchant Management” and choose the merchant you need. 
  3. Click “Domain settings”.
  4. Check that the domain the payment gateway is launched from is on the “List of secure domains” you see there.
  5. To add a domain, click on “Add domain” and enter the URL. The URLs entered require only the following elements: (https://), subdomain and domain. Routes, parameters and tags are not necessary. For example:
    • “https://www.mydomain.com/es/shop” just enter: “https://www.mydomain.com”.
    • If operating with subdomains (https://sub.mydomain.com), you will also need to include them as secure domains.
  6. Make sure the box “I’m going to use an ecommerce platform with plugins” is ticked.
  7. Click “Save” to save the changes.
  8. Reload the page on the Addon Payments BackOffice Portal and make sure the changes have been saved.

I can't get any BackOffice Portal characteristics or functions to load.

Sometimes not all the BackOffice Portal functions load correctly. To solve the problem, follow these steps:

  1. Reload the BackOffice Portal page.
  2. If that doesn’t help, wipe the browser cache and try again.
  3. If that still doesn’t work, try again in a few minutes.
  4. As a last resort, send an email to support@addonpayments.com with your merchant ID (MerchandId), username and the issue.

Transactions

How can I see the status of a transaction?

You can list transactions with their details using the transaction search engine on the Addon Payments BackOffice Portal.

See the Operations searches guide for more information.

If you can’t find a specific transaction, send an email to support@addonpayments.com with the Addon Payments ID for the transaction.

The transaction search engine on the BackOffice Portal is very slow.

This can happen to merchants with many transactions and/or very broad searches.

To avoid this, try to search for specific, complete IDs and a narrow time range. 

The status of a transaction isn't right and I want to change it.

You can’t change a transaction status from the BackOffice Portal.

If you see a transaction with the wrong status, send an email to support@addonpayments.com with the Addon Payments ID for the transaction and the correct status.
